At Tweedie's Restaurant a concise but varied wine list has been carefully selected offering a spectrum of both local & Imported wines and featuring local white wines which predominantly use the Xinisteri grape (indigenous to Cyprus).
Ayia Paraskevi White dry Xinisteri from €18.00.
Some blended varieties using Sauvignon Blanc & Semillion prices up to €25.
And an organic Chardonnay wine at €22.50
We also offer a dessert wine by the glass from the Muscat grape €4.75.
Local Reds include blends of Marathektico, Lefkada, Cabernet franc, Mataro & Mouvedere grapes again from €20 a bottle.
Tweedie’s house wine served by the carafe is a very acceptable, easy drinkable local white & red from a renowned vineyard in the wine region and at €14 for just over a litre is very popular.
Rose wines (great for the hot summer months) boast a blush from Cyprus & Italy, (€22 & €16.50) complemented by the more traditional Pinotage from South Africa (€25).
Imported wines from Italy, Australia, Argentina, New Zealand & France broaden the range; priced from €16.50.
We offer a white sauvignon blanc & red merlot (both from Chile) by the glass at €4.50.
And no wine list is complete without bubbles.
So we have Champagne from Billecart Salmon at €90.00 bottle and €16.00 per glass.
Spumante (Italy) is €22.50 bottle and €6.95 per glass.
And a cava from Spain at €12.50
