Craig​  -  CHEF


Craig revealed an early flair for the culinary arts by preparing and cooking his first Sunday roast at the age of 7.

Later, while travelling through Australia and Europe, he gained valuable experience by working as a chef. His enthusiasm for a career in cooking grew and he returned to England to work in hotels and restaurants, eventually owning his own pub restaurant on the River Severn.

The lure of the sun and the desire for a new challenge brought Craig and Hilary to Cyprus - and Tweedie’s restaurant opened in the spring of 2004.


Hilary has always had a passion for food.  After studying food science at university she went into sales and customer service.  As her career developed she moved into training, eventually becoming the European Sales Training Manager for an engineering company.


This was nothing to do with food, but it gave her the chance to travel around Europe and experience the variety and delights of continental cuisine.


When she first arrived in Cyprus there was a gap in the market for quality international food and so Tweedie’s restaurant was born.  The small building was chosen to help create an intimate ambience and to keep service and food standards high.
