“...run very professionally by an English couple, Tweedie’s reputation rests on good food, generous portions, a friendly atmosphere and pleasant surroundings. The Wine list is short but well stocked with local and international labels”

From the Financial Mirror. April 2007

Craig and Hilary Tweedie used to run a pub with grub in the UK, but opted for sunnier climes three years ago, when they settled near Paphos and opened Tweedie’s in the main street of Kysonerga village.

“They are nothing if not enterprising. They have a varied and changing menu which delights a band of regular customers,”

“We were lucky to get a table in this 30-seater restaurant a couple of weeks back and enjoyed a first class three course dinner....”

“.....the dishes were plentifully sauced with an amazing array of fresh vegetables”.

“Apart from the cooking and the very friendly service, the ambiance at Tweedie’s is delightful, sited as it is in a handsome stone village house”.

Cyprus Daily Mail’s Jill Campbell Mackay wrote after her visit:
“Tweedie’s has managed to leap over all the requisite hurdles triumphing with astonishing grace, and in record time has managed to combine the essential elements of surprise, comfort, delight, and equilibrium in about the same period it takes most other restaurants to decide how to fold their dinner napkins.”
