Jan 2012 - Dreaming by David Arran
Dreaming of that perfect driver? Win ten thousand’, not a fiver? Smiling Awfulnides’ girl Soon my head is in a whirl!
View a tree, it’s full of sparrows Never guns or bows and arrows Sunlight plays upon the sea Butterfly or busy bee!
Sunday morning, no more shooting Tiny owl and he’s still hooting! Pinch myself, it’s really calm Odourless the large goat farm?
Hands on ‘wheel, a Mazda passing No one on the phone is gassing! ‘Let’s me in and…. then he smiles This one on my special files?
Elgar soothing, cello playing Wondrous palms are gently swaying Smoothest roads without a hole England….scoring winning goal?
Scaling Troodos heights, no panting? ‘Find walk leader quite enchanting? Not one negative complaint Gosh, I think I’m going faint!
K.C. office, no one smoking ‘Bet all think: “You must be joking!” Stale tobacco atmosphere Soon be lighting up I fear?
Culinary “palace greeting Tweedie’s, greatest place for eating (Kissonerga’s pride!) Wide awake… this is no dream Of all restaurants…. the Cream!

Nov 2010 - Hi Guys,
We just wanted to say a huge well done and thank you for putting on such a superb gourmet evening.
The service and food as always, absolute perfection. The presentation of each dish was faultless, which can’t have been easy when trying to serve 30 people at once.
We really enjoyed listening to your wine experts description of the wines served. Congratulations and wishing Tweedies another successful year ahead.

As I have said before on other foodie posts, this is our very favourite restaurant in the Paphos area. It's nice to know others appreciate it too. The food is so good it bears no relationship to the rubbish you often get in so called traditional tavernas (a few however are better than most and shouldn't be called rubbish - a bit 'samey' though and not very good).
The vegetarian dishes are 'proper meals' and not just veggie burgers, salad and chips, or other vegetarian excuses! _________________ Happily retired and spending our childrens' inheritence!

“My Favourite Restaurant.”
My tastes are simple but hard to please Preferring fresh, not from the deep freeze. Nicely presented on a hot plate Cooked to perfection, always first rate. A lot to ask from many places Where you are greeted with surly faces
Now I have found one that is perfect, I’m tempted to keep it a secret. Cos I can’t have food perfectly cooked, If the place is always fully booked. The service and smile from Hilary; The gourmet cuisine from Craig Tweedie.

Eating Out by Willowby King
I am a soup fan and the “Cream of Onion” soup special was absolutely stunning. It sounds boring but it was Michelin Guide good! We have tried the pasta and the steak, both were A1 and the selection of vegetables that don’t arrive on the plate is always welcome. All was cooked to perfection and the smells waft from the kitchen.

Nov 2011 - Dear Hilary and Craig,
We visited your restaurant for the first time on Saturday night and truly had the most fantastic evening, the food was divine, the service excellent and the ambiance delightful! We all enjoyed it so much we came back on Sunday for lunch......equally delightful.
I am only ashamed to say that it has taken me so long to take note of all the excellent comments I had heard over the years and act on them....I am already looking forward to my next visit! Thank you so much for providing Paphos with such an excellent restaurant
best wishes, Lesley & Dave

We just wanted to Thank You for a wonderful evening. Everything about your restaurant is just perfect and if only we didn't live 2000 miles away in the UK we would be VERY regular customers. I very much hope that when we visit Cyprus again we will be making a booking with you almost before we book our flights.
Kind Regards Cheryl & Colin

We four students went well together and I am sure that we will remain friends. John and Alison joined us at our Kamares Wine Society meeting last night so we will be in touch more.

I feel I should mention this place again, went the other night and once again the food, service was fantastic there's a new menu for the summer, the extra touches, eg the home made bread and Hilary even put some table confetti out which was really thoughtful, just make it that bit more special.

Tweedies Restaurant is well known around town With a reputation that is of great renown. People travel miles, from near and far To sample the cuisine that goes far beyond par. Keith Floyd and Gordon Ramsey were very aggrieved When they tried to book in, but didn’t succeed! Booking is essential, so they say, “Sorry, full up. Try another day”.

........Portions were generous, we had no room for desserts but ordered two and five forks just to try. All loved the lemon and lime pie. Although the space is small, tables were placed far enough apart so that other diners are seen but not heard. No one smoked inside or used their cell phones.......
